Selling USDT to a Card — A Walkthrough

This page follows one real sell deal from the moment the chat opens until fiat lands. Every stop is named: what you see, what the service asks for, why that exact number matters, and when it is right to check a block explorer before you celebrate.

Stop one: the quote

The exchange starts with a request. You say how much USDT you want to sell and in what currency you need the fiat. The service replies with three numbers: a rate, a converted amount and a clock — the quote has an expiry, usually measured in minutes. At this stop the right question is not "is this rate good" but "what rate would the mid-market give me right now at a tracker, and what is the gap." The gap is the spread. If the spread is reasonable, the quote is the deal ticket.

  • Say what you sell (USDT) and what you buy (RUB, CNY, USD)
  • Note the rate and the converted amount as they appear in the chat
  • Check the quote expiry — the rate is fixed within that window

Stop two: the one-time address and the exact amount

After you accept the quote, the service issues a TRC20 address — unique to your deal. Alongside the address comes a number: send exactly 150.00 USDT, not 149, not 151. That precision is the matching mechanism. The address is the lock, the amount is the key, and the automation that follows relies on both.

  • Copy the TRC20 address — paste, do not retype
  • Check that the first character is T and that the last four match
  • Write down or copy the exact amount — it must be precise

Stop three: the send

Open your own wallet. Set the network to TRC20. Paste the one-time address and enter the exact amount. Before confirming, read the fee estimate; if it seems high for TRC20, check your network selector again. Confirm and wait for the broadcast.

Stop four: the verification

Open the transaction hash in a block explorer. The four fields that prove the deal: status (must say SUCCESS), the recipient address (must match), the amount (must match the agreed figure), and the block time. Only after all four line up is the fiat side released. This stop is not paranoia — it is the same check the service itself runs, and running it yourself gives you the same information they base their decision on.

  • Status: SUCCESS (not pending, not failed)
  • Recipient: matches the one-time address
  • Amount: matches the agreed exact figure
  • Confirmations: at least one for TRC20

Frequently asked questions

I sent more than the exact amount by mistake. What now?

A mismatch can delay the automated matching. Contact the service immediately through the same channel the deal was opened — with the hash in hand. In most cases the payment is still visible and can be matched manually, but it turns a minutes-long flow into a support case.

The quote expired while my transfer was confirming. Did I lose the rate?

The rate applies at the moment the quote is accepted — not at the moment the transfer confirms. If the QR window passes during the on-chain wait, the payout reverts to the rate at the moment of confirmation. This is standard; the walkthrough tells you the expiry at stop one so no surprise.
